Exactly what is the answer to the Great Resignation problem?

Is the remuneration higher? Is there anything else I can get out of this? Unrestricted leave time? It’s possible that there are better ways to meditate.

There are two main issues I see in this case:

  1. Because they don’t enjoy their work, workers are abandoning their employment at historically high rates

2. There is a lack of effort on the part of employers when it comes to selecting employees who will like working for them

Now, let’s take a closer look at each of these issues and how to fix it:

1) There are too many people doing something they don’t enjoy.

As a matter of fact, it’s nothing more than a job at best, and a low-paying, life-robbing way to make money at worst.

Does it make sense that they’d want to retire?

I can’t see stopping or retiring because I enjoy what I do so much. As long as you enjoy your work, resigning is not a problem.

Finding a balance is more important than the amount of cash you get from work.

The people I know who work low-paying jobs have good money management skills.

People who work as janitors are more content than CEOs of Fortune 500 companies, according to this study.

Their finances may be sufficient for them to retire, yet they don’t. When it comes to their profession and the people they’ve met, they’re in love.

I’m not saying everyone should accept low-paying employment or that all janitors are happy.

To put it another way, you have more options when you have a solid financial basis. As a result, it becomes a powerful instrument for gaining an advantage over the opposition. That alone lessens your tension and increases your sense of well-being.

In the pandemic, folks who didn’t love their occupations got their first opportunity to start a business. Now they can use that as a springboard to discover their life’s calling — the thing that truly fulfils them.

2) Employers also have a role to play in this. Many people lack long-term vision. Asking: Can you do this job? rather than simply hiring:

Is this candidate going to enjoy working here? Is it something they’ll enjoy?

If they accomplish that, they’ll have a lower turnover rate, increased productivity, and a greater sense of well-being.

Of course, they’ll still have to pay a decent wage, provide a healthy work-life balance, and take care of everything else their employees require in order to be satisfied in their jobs.

Instead of them, it will be time for them to retire.
